“To Max and all. I had a very enjoyable couple of hours at and around the cross. I met some interesting visitors. I shared Max’s vision and explained the beautiful sculptures and the final plans for the finished product. The folks I met were from the following areas: Kerrville and the immediate area 17, Hannibal, MO. -2; Corpus Christi, TX 4, San Angelo, TX 4, Pennsylvania 2; two groups from San Antonio, TX 7. In addition I was blessed to meet the fellow from China, Max and one of the men and lady friend who worked as a welder on the cross. I also met a wonderful family from the San Antonio area who produced one of the national TV programs for Max. All and all, it was a pleasant 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM afternoon. If all of our tour guides experienced the same volume interest in the Lord’s garden things are picking up. One final human-interest story; one couple after many years of marriage, renewed their vows, caressed by the cross. It was a touching event.”
