Pave The Way To The Cross

Miriam Hayes, Ashville, NC

“Having met Max 10 or 11 years ago and been part of his intercessory prayer team since, I have followed the plans and development of the Sculpture Prayer Garden. My husband and I live in North Carolina and for some time my dream was to someday take a trip to Kerrville, TX and visit it. My husband finally made that dream come true for me and recently we not only visited the garden but we were privileged to spend some time with Max and his lovely wife Sherry. I was not the least bit disappointed in the garden. I was amazed at the beauty of it all. But I was most impressed with how scripture that is all about the gospel of Salvation is engraved in the stepping stones leading the way to the cross. Once one goes through the cross and perhaps has an encounter with Jesus, the scripture stones leading away tell how to live a Spirit-filled life. It is quite an encounter no matter where one is spiritually. Before we left the area, my husband and I went to the garden early that morning and had our devotions and prayer time together. We couldn’t think of a better way to end this very special visit.”
