“I must share this story with you. I was at your prayer garden in Kerrville a few weeks ago, seeking God about some really important matters for direction in the next phase of ministry, after retiring from the military. I just received a very important phone call and decided to go up to Kerrville to pray with my wife, Esther. Esther stayed in the car and I went up to the cross, on the way I saw the bronze lion and marveled at its beauty and majesty. I went underneath the cross and began to intensely pray, something prompted me to look up into the sky, and there in the clouds was the head of the Lion of Judah looking directly at me! I stared at it in disbelief for about 5 minutes. I am not given to dreams and visions, but this was unmistakable and irrefutable. The Lord spoke to me out of that Lion and told me that He is coming back as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Rev 5:5) and that my ministry would be connected with that. Since that time, God has opened some incredible doors that I cannot share with you right now, but will, when God permits.”
